BTS “Permission To Dance” Replaces “Butter” On Hot 100

BTS “Butter” had been the No. 1 on the Hot 100 for seven straight weeks since it debuted on the chart. In the latest billboard rankings, though the “Butter” rule has come to an end, the winner to claim the throne is another BTS hit- “Permission To Dance.”

For the “Hot 100” week dated July 24, “Permission To Dance” debuted at No.1 on the chart. This move brings BTS another distinction, as it becomes the first group to have a debut No.1 replace a debut No. 1- talking about “Butter” here!

In the last 10 months, this is the fifth “No.1” feat on the chart by BTS. This is the second-fastest “Billboard Five Hits” following the Michael Jackson nine months streak.

The other four BTS “No. 1” drops include, “Dynamite”- already knew-“Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat)” with Jawsh 685 and Jason Derulo, “Life Goes On,” and” Butter.”

Congratulations to BTS!
