BTS Takes Home Multiple Awards At MTV Video Music Awards Japan

BTS takes home two awards at the MTV Video Music Awards Japan.

The winners of the awards were announced yesterday on October 29. The categories which the boy-band topped are ‘Best Group Video’ and ‘Best Collaboration Video’ in the international category.

BTS “Butter” topped the list for the ‘Best Group Video,’ whereas for the ‘Best Collaboration Video,’ Coldplay, and BTS’s latest hit, “My Universe” took the lead.

Though BTS has been snagging accolades at the awards for multiple years in a row, this is the first time that the band has won more than one award at the MTV Video Music Awards Japan.

Their previous feats involve winning the Best Group Video(international)
with “Dynamite” in 2020, and the same award with “Fake Love” in 2018. And between 2018 and 2020, BTS landed the Best Buzz Award in the year 2019.

Congratulations to BTS over this historic win!
