BTS’s Butter Records Highest 24-Hours Streams On Spotify

After racking up the highest 24-hours-debut record on YouTube, which has also been confirmed officially, Butter has earned the highest number of 24-hours-streams in Spotify as well.

This is a huge achievement for any song, let alone an English song, by a non-English act.

But, it was anticipated, given the band’s massive popularity around the world, and its #ARMY consisting of millions of soldiers.

Digging into numbers, the tune attained this feat by recording over 11,042,335 streams in the first 24 hours of its debut, the record previously held by Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber’s superhit “I Don’t Care,” which secured the throne with over 10.977 million streams.

Congratulations to BTS!
