BTS’s “Fake Love” Is Their 5th Song To Go Silver In United Kingdom

BTS’s “Fake Love” is the band’s 5th song to receive silver certification in the United Kingdom.

The British Phonographic Industry (BPI) announced the news on July 16, only one week after “DNA” had received the same title.

“Fake Love” is a BTS song from the album “Love Yourself: Tear.” The other four tunes to have silver certifications include  “Boy With Luv,” “Dynamite,” “MIC Drop,” and “DNA.”

According to BPI’s standards, singles are awarded silver certification on crossing the threshold of 200 000 units sold.

However, the criterion is different for the albums as it involves the bottom line of selling 60 000 units.

Apart from the singles, the BTS albums to receive silver certifications in Great Britain include:

  • Love Yourself: Her
  •  Love Yourself: Answer
  • Map of the Soul: Persona
  • Love Yourself: Tear
  • Map of the Soul: 7
  • Face Yourself
  • The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever
  • You Never Walk Alone

Congratulations to BTS!
